This Privacy Policy applies from 11th November, 2025 and covers users in both the United Kingdom / EEA and the United States.

A. Purpose of Messages

Yetz uses SMS messages solely for non-marketing purposes, including:

• Sending one-time passcodes (OTP) for sign-in and verification.
• Confirming account activation or password reset.
• Delivering critical security notifications.

B. Opt-In Consent

By creating a Yetz account and providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive these non-marketing SMS messages as a condition of using the Service. This constitutes “prior express consent” under the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and “opt-in” consent under UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or emailing devteam@yetz.io. Please note that opting out of security SMS may disable features that require phone verification and could prevent you from accessing your account.

D. Rates and Delivery

Standard carrier rates may apply. Yetz is not responsible for delayed or failed SMS delivery due to carrier or network issues.

Yetz does not sell, lease, or monetize personal data for advertising purposes.

Because Yetz operates globally, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United Statesand other countries.

We use the following safeguards:

• UK International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs) or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
• U.S. processing under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

9. Retention of Data

• Active accounts → kept for as long as you use Yetz.
• Deleted accounts → removed within 90 days except where retention is required for security or legal reasons.
• Legal records (e.g., transactions, tax) → retained up to 10 years.
• Verification records → kept for 12 months to prevent fraudulent re-registration.

All data is securely erased or anonymized after these periods.

Yetz is for users aged 18 and over. We do not intentionally collect data from minors.

• Yetz does not sell personal information.
• You may request access or deletion of personal data via devteam@yetz.io.
• You may appeal a denied request by emailing the same address and marking the subject “Privacy Request Appeal.”

Under the TCPA, your express consent to receive non-marketing SMS is voluntary and revocable at any time by replying STOP.

We’ll notify you by email, app notification, or banner before major changes take effect.
